3 tips for taking great photos for your album
The 4th of July is truly a unifying Holiday here in the United States. People come together to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy. Be sure to capture all the excitement of this Holiday with digital photos and a free online photo album.
After all, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to take photos. You’ll need someplace to not just store them, but to enjoy them. A free online photo album can help you do just that. You can bring all your 4th of July photos into one professionally printed and bound album. Or you can share your free online photo album with family and friends over the Internet.
Creating a free online photo album is simple. Just gather your photos, load them to your computer, and then save them to a photo sharing website that let’s you create a free online photo album.
Here are three tips you can use to make the photos you put into your free online photo album even more special.
Tip #1 First, keep your camera handy. You never know when you might see a great picture, and you don’t want to be caught empty handed. Cute children wearing Red, White and Blue face paint may run by, and you’ll want to capture the image. Or the winning parade float may pass you by – and you’ll want to make sure you capture the sight of it forever.
It our nation’s birthday party – treat it like one! Take as many photos with patriotic themes as possible. Maybe carry some props with you to hand out to people who aren’t wearing Red, White and Blue that day. Pose your subjects in front of bunting and Holiday decorations. These kind of pictures will look great in your free online photo album.
Tip #2 Get in close. If a child has a small American flag tattooed to their cheek, get up close. There’s nothing sweeter than a child’s face! If you see people eating watermelon, don’t be shy – sit right across from them and ask them to spit the seeds! You’ll get some fun shots that way (not of the actual spitting of course!). You’ll get your subjects to relax, and that way you’ll have wonderful pictures for your free online photo album of people laughing.
Tip #3 Save room on your memory card for the fireworks. Taking pictures of fireworks can be challenging, but don’t worry. Even if you just get a couple of shots, it will be worth it. If you have a tripod, use it. If not, just steady your camera on a porch railing, or try to get the glow of fireworks reflecting in people’s faces. Be careful about your surroundings – you won’t want to get burned, and you won’t want a bunch of tree limbs or phone wires in your free photo online photo album.
If you know them well enough, be sure to get email addresses of the people you photograph. After all, you’ll be taking pictures of a memorable day. You can send them electronic copies of your free online photo album. That way, they can order printed copies of your album if they so choose.
